Privacy Policy
Short version: LuniVex collects almost nothing. The launcher needs to talk to Mojang to sign you in and to Modrinth to show you mods. That's it. No analytics, no crash reporters, no tracking.
What we collect
LuniVex itself collects nothing about you. There are no analytics, no crash reporters, no usage tracking, and no third-party SDKs sending data anywhere.
The only data that moves is what is strictly necessary to make the launcher work:
- Your Minecraft account credentials go to Mojang's authentication servers so you can sign in. LuniVex does not see or store your password - that goes directly to Mojang.
- Mod search queries and download requests go to Modrinth's API so the launcher can show you mods and install them.
Neither of those flows involve LuniVex receiving or storing your data. We are just the pipe, not the destination.
What we do not collect
To be explicit about it:
- No analytics or usage statistics
- No crash reports or error logs sent anywhere
- No device identifiers or fingerprinting
- No IP addresses logged by the launcher
- No account information stored outside your own machine
- No advertising identifiers of any kind
You can verify this by reading the source code. The repo will be public before the first release.
Third parties the launcher talks to
When you use LuniVex, it makes network requests to:
- Mojang / Microsoft - for Minecraft account authentication. Their privacy policy applies to that interaction.
- Modrinth - for browsing and installing mods. Their privacy policy applies to that interaction.
No other third-party services are contacted by the launcher. There are no analytics providers, no crash reporting services, and no advertising networks.
The website (lunivex.xyz)
This website is a static HTML site. It does not use cookies, does not run analytics, and does not track visitors. No data about your visit is collected or stored.
The only external requests this site makes are to Google Fonts for typography. Google's privacy policy applies to that.
If this changes
If LuniVex ever adds anything that affects your privacy - including minimal ads if they are added in the future - it will be disclosed on this page first, with a clear explanation of what changed and why. The last updated date at the top of this page will reflect any changes.
